BC it would take quite a bit of time to explain all of my thoughts about this subject.

Why was NATO formed? The short answer.....It was formed to protect the region from
future Soviet expansion.

The long answer would be long of course.

Some questions that I would need to answer.........

Is NATO still even necessary?
Does the US still need to be part of NATO?
Does the US need to have troops there today?
Does NATO need to reexamine their goals?
Is Russia becoming more expansionist as of late?
Is there danger of Russia becoming the Soviet Union again?

All these questions and the answers to them are complicated and each
of them require a lot of thought to answer. Who really knows what could happen?

I think that if you asked 100 different people you would get 100 different answers.
I also think that if I spent all the time giving you my answers to all these questions
we would have a debate that eventually devolved into a big USA is bad argument
that would eventually be locked.

I think that the true answers are too difficult to know at this time.
Honestly, I am looking for my soul mate. I want to search for her and find her.
I like this forum because there are many people who have been successful and
give advice about how to do this.

Yes, I think many forms of cooperation, trade etc would be beneficial, but I don't
think that letting them into NATO is a good idea.
