English Speaking FSUW Versus Non-English Speaking FSUW

Yep, as soon as I read the last letter it dawned on me which "ahem" you were talking about.  That "Ahem" was the biggest disaster of my chasing FSU women experiece.   I really think I was trying to block the whole thing out of my mind.  So anyway, it was bad, real bad.

I think "How to Shop with a RW" could go on forever. You see, I took Oksana to the Mall the day after Thanksgiving to show how miserable shopping can be with all the people. Well, that didn't work. I can't get her out of Home Depot even if only shopping for one item.  Forget the days of just walking in a buying what's necessary and leaving. I have to admit, my patience isn't exceedingly abundant when it comes to shopping.  Chairs work real good in clothing stores though.

The chair is what got me into that arguement over the luggage. After all of the walking and looking a luggage I sat down to rest. That did not last long because soon pretty, cute, innocent, blonde RW is in my face, "It seems that we are from two different worlds. You are not helping me find suitcase. I will do..it...by...myself." When you get the old emphasis on each word of the sentence you are indeed in big trouble.

Another time I am in Hong Kong. "Peevee, I vant new shoes so vee go shoppink." I like sexy women's shoes as much as the next guy but after going into the 10th shoe store in Gong Kong, as they call it, I am done. I say, "You go up that street and I will go down that street and I will see you another time." And off we go. Soon it dawns on me that I did not agree with her on either a time to meet or where to meet. So I spend the next two hours walking up and down the steets of Gong Kong looking for her. And those streets are crowded. She is almost 6 feet tall and blonde so she is not hard to spot in a sea of short Chinese with black hair and I did finally find her. "did you find your shoes?"  "No. I will look another day."

Shopping with any women, unless you like shopping, is a no no.

Son of Clyde, your statement reminds me of a line from Hitchikers Guide to the Galaxy "I'm English I know how to queue".

It's one huge difference I've noticed between FSU and Americans.  For example in Turkey there was always a line for the hot dishes, so the strategy was I'd stand in that line while she went and picked out the salads and desserts.

I can understand your point though, but for them it's the normal thing to do when you look at the lines they're used to.

You will miss out on millions of good FSUW by only meeting/pursuing English speaking women.
But you can't develop a relationship to a woman in which you don't share a common language.

You aren't going to learn Russian well enough to speak it fluently, so she needs English.

Well when she married an American she didn't know any English and his perception of her was totally wrong
He thought she was very shy and demure. But soon enough she learned English and was being very loud with a strong
Russian accent. So this and some other issues made him want a divorce.

My wife is only loud gets loud when she is among 20 Russian girls who are also loud
and she's had a couple glasses of wine (she gets tipsy with a half glass)

You can't know a woman without communicating with her in a common language. Marrying
someone you don't know is mind bogglingly stupid. He is lucky that she is only loud.
She could be a cRaZy dEvil gIrL who wants to have an open marriage with a local
rock band. 

How would he know if she wanted kids? If her hobbies were watching animal sacrifice and
her idea of child rearing was to get them drunk so that she could leave them in the car
while she hung out with the band.

He is lucky! It could have been way, way worse.

You need a common language AND you need to be able to look into a woman's eyes while 
she talks and tell if she is being 100% honest. Listening to a translator is not going to give
you any sort of insight into a girl.

He didn't take her out with her friends? She would have been loud then? I don't think he
did much if any due diligence. You need to spend time with a woman, not just a happy
2 week vacation together. I visited Angel Eyes 4 times then she came to see me twice.

We talked for countless hours about everything. He didn't know she was loud? She didn't
make phone calls? He didn't get her drunk at least once? He's never dated a crazy girl?
He doesn't even know how lucky/stupid he is.

nutjob, burning your clothes on the hood of your car because you forgot to close
the lid of the toilet.

She claims she is so loud because for years in Russia her job was at a fire station as a dispetcher and apparently if You don't
scream, nobody would hear You. She is a nice person she knows she is loud actually and she tries not to be loud but slips
anyways. And she used to drink a lot too. Not as much anymore. She tends to get into embarassing and socially awkward
situations. Like one time I invited her to a Russian New Year party held by Russian software professionals. A few women
at the party were russian Jews who came here as refugees and she knew that. She got drunk and was annoyed these
jewish women would not drink with her, so she approached them and said <very loudly> "Why are You not drinking??? As if You aren't Russian!!!" ("ну вы прямо как не русские!") You can just imagine the reaction.

And yes she could have been anyone really! When You listen to a translator You don't even see the eyes or the body language.
Not sure if he ever went out with her and her friends or got her drunk.
