My new brother
« on: September 21, 2024, 03:53:53 AM »
While going back alone I stopped in a small city for the night.
Getting a bite to eat I decided to go to the cafe across the street.
While ordering I noticed a guy standing near te bar. 6 feet tall and built like a buffalo, dressed in the red striped shirt of the land forces.
He was discussing with the staff and if you removed swearing he did not say much.
After I ordered shashlick, he came to my table and sat across me.
I am Sergey, he said. I amswered I am Shadow. He started some story but even though he obviously had some drinks noticed I did not understand. Ya Niderlande, I explained.
He immediately was happy to meet a foreigner, and ordered some brandy to share with him
After I finished eating he put another plate of chicken shashlick.for me.
He had fought in Tadjikistan and got a bullet in the head, but survived. Probably it would take a tank grenade to kill him looking at him.
As I needed to drive on the next morning I thanked him and told I was going to sleep.
Being a foreigner he actually accompanied me on the way, as he was afraid I was drunk ( not at all).

We are now  brothers even though we may never meet again.

No it is not a dog. Its really how I look.  ;)

Tadjikistan, Ukraine, Georgia, even Russia....

a Russian's head doesn't contain any "critical" organs
and that's how he survivied a head shot
