I thought I would start this thread so Members could post up Interesting videos on the theme of Dating in general or similar related issues. So videos from You Tube or wherever that may be interesting and be good points for discussion. Feel free to add videos that you come across and comment as you like.

I'll start by kicking us off with this video:



It's a video about women that essentially whore themselves out on Tinder through their late teens and twenties to guys they see as the top guys that they wish to snag. However, they essentially just get used for sex and by their thirties or so are being unceremoniously ditch by these so called top guys (Chads?) who are getting younger women come up to go with or have eventually settled down with a girl other than them.

That basically leaves them high and dry in their thirties and later without much in the way of options that they find acceptable if any options at all. A fascinating insight I think into what happens to these girls that chase after these so called top guys on Tinder while ignoring the decent everyday guy after she is no longer wanted on the Tinder circuit.

But in men too! Each gender accusing another of being shallow
women complaining men demand specific weight while they demand money and height.
Men complain women are materialistic while they wouldn't go out with an overweight women.

BTW I disagree that a woman can always just lose weight. It depends how much she is overweight!
After a certain size being obese, if a person loses weight, the skin just hangs and it looks horrible!

PS: In my experience any woman who believes in Astrology, stars aligning, etc. is simplistic and dumb. Sorry

Pretty much just the 'battle of the sexes.'

Men and women desire different things.

Men want young, slender and sexy because these are the ones able to provide children . . . and give the men incentive to want to procreate with them.

Women want reliable men, able to provide for family, which has moved from 'strong able to kill animals' to having money.

These desires have been genetically inbred through the process of 'survival of the fittest' for thousands if not millions of years of evolution.

Happiest men and women are those who accept these criteria of the opposite sex and make the most of what they have and what is available.

In in micro sense . . . this is why men of means have been going to FSU for past 30-40 years or so and other places for perhaps longer.

I think that is the thing that we have here a lot of bad ways, bad habits forming and I think they have come usually in women since mostly the 90s onwards with women entering the work force en masse and wanting equal pay with men. I think there has been a lot of trying to reinvent the wheel in society and when that happens all sorts of problems can arise. Eventually I think things will go back more to how they were. At the moment I see society falling apart and a lot of what women in the West hoped would be good ending up anything but and then ending up in a bad place.

I think the men wanting beauty and women wanting materialist dreams has been a long running thing going back centuries. That baseline I think will likely always be there. People vary and not all men look just at beauty and not all women focus only on the the materialistic. However I think that women have moved into bad ways and areas over the past 2-3 decades.

Tinder I think has hooked all too many women and unfortunately made most of them virtually useless as reliable lovers that you can trust for a long term relationship. It essentially turns them it free prostitutes for the so called top 10 percent of guys on there. By the time they are done with it in their thirties as this woman who is 31 at the beginning of the video they have been screwed by so many guy in one night stands and short term relationships that they don't even know what a long term relationship comprises off or can be trusted not to hook up behind a guy's back. Unfortunately it leads them to lack morals in just dropping their knickers on a whim for these guys.

I mean if a guy just thinks of the 50, 100 or more dudes a girl like this may have been with it's not really a very savoury thought that before any STI's etc are considered. I personally would run a mile from these Tinder/ex-Tinder girls most are going to be nothing but bad news.

Women usually gain weight during birth
I think if one gains 40 pounds or less losing weight will not lead to a sagging skin and stretch marks
especially if a woman is young!
I was taking about people losing 60+ pounds then they usually need plastic surgeries for the skin
Also the damage to one's health could already be done even if a person later loses all the weight.

I think it's common to gain more weight that You lose, I remember gaining weight during pregnancy which I lost while breastfeeding for the next 14 months. Giving birth usually involves working hard on getting Your figure back. Though some women bounce right
back especially if they give birth in their early 20s.

Thanks Grumpy for your contribution. I only saw the first bit of the video but my thoughts were this:

- Esther seems to just view having children from a females perspective of having children. She seems more devoted to finding better solutions or at least other solutions for females in the modern day for having children outside of the traditional two biological parent set up.

- She talks about a woman who was 36 wanting kids with a guy who was in the process of getting divorced who already had kids and wanted more, but the timing wasn't right as he was in the process of getting divorced and I guess she didn't want to wait for him because her biological clock is ticking and her time is running out.


On the first point I would say that trying to find better or other solutions is likely to end badly for the upbringing of the child and for society. Remember here that if it's gotten wrong and people try experimenting with other ways and it doesn't work out there is one hell of a mess 15 - 20 years down the road. In my opinion we are already are in a mess from the single parent family phenomena from 15 - 20 or so years ago and is still continuing today. Sure some parents can make it as a one parent family and do a good job of bringing up their child but most don't. Worse the children can end up not right once they have grown up and during growing up.

I personally think Esther is trying to find even more ways to please women with having a family who are wanting a better option than what there has been. I think she risks leading them down even more wrong paths. Few guys will want to bother with a woman who has a child who is not biologically theirs unless than woman is damn hot, they get in like a house on fire or the guy is desperate. Most dudes will see that they aren't fully onboard and they are just being used or feel like they are or may be at risk of it. I personally think it's more the woman that would be putting herself first instead of the child.

I personally go with professor Jordan Peterson on this one. That instead of trying to avoid the commitment of a relationship it's better to accept it. Yes it may not be perfect but it's better to at least try for a committed relationship and if a bad patch is reached at least try to resolve if you can. Basically that kids are usually better off with two parents, preferably biological parents. Sure in some cases there are no other option to try a different path but for most it's better to not try and cut a better deal but to accept the deal men and women have gotten to over hundreds of years, a two biological parent family.

As far as the woman who is 36 is concerned, I think the same applies as in the top video at the beginning of this thread - 'where the hell has she been for the last 20 years???' As a woman most will have a reasonably easy time finding men and if she's not managed it by her thirties then the fault is with her. There's loads of easy stuff a female can do to meet men and get their attention. If she's turning down men then she is likely aiming too high, being too picky and needs to face reality and see that what she is looking for is likely pointlessly too much.

Try to make a post in ANY thread that has nothing to do with
1. The inability of people in general to improve their lot in life
2. Why people shouldn't try (laziness is best)
3. Incel theories
4. Tricking, fooling, taking advantage or lying to women or
strategies about the same.

It was grueling . . . but we stayed with it over a few months.

At the end . . . neither of us could tell you anything about what we had heard.

On a related note:  A finance professor friend of mine visited the philosophy department and asked some faculty if they would like to meet to discuss philosophy.

They said they would like to meet  . . .  but only to discuss the stock market.
