Looking for legit dating sites for Eastern European women

I’m new to this new on this website and I figured some of you are probably in the same boat I am I keep going on these dating sites and all I find are women that I believe are not who they say they are and all they want you to do is spend more and more money to even talk to them so I was wondering if any of you have actually found any legit dating sites

Welcome to the forum Frank,

I generally recommend staying away from the pay by the letter sites and pay to chat sites.
I've been married for over 10 years, so I can't recommend a site. A site can be good, then
change owners, then not be reliable anymore. Any good sites list goes stale really fast.

I used a bunch of different sites, meeting my wife Angel Eyes at Russian Social networking
site. VK.com. It's more like the Russian version of Facebook than a dating site.

Hard to give advice in these times. My (Russian) wife and I have been married for 22 in August, 2025. For me......going to Russia was a big dream. My college roommate and I hitchhiked from Upper
peninsula Michigan.......to Fort Lauderdale, Florida.......in December. I would not trade being married to my wife for anything. "BUT".........being married to a Russian wife is more challenging. If you can't have a relationship with an American women....a Russian woman will "NOT" be easier. As my good friend "JB" once said (former RWD member who passed a few years ago)......Being in a relationship with an RW is the "master class". Worth all the trouble to me. But it will never be easier. I ended up getting a great set of (Russian) friends and relatives. I never looked at considering a Russian wife as the "answer.........just and alternative. My dating life was rich....before....I met my wife.

To be Frank I would definitely second 2tallbill with fdating.com as the most likely place to find legit women by far.

Most women there are legit and if I had to think of a percentage of legit dating profiles I would say probably at least 90 percent or more of profiles are legit. I don't see that dating site as having any big problems with legit dating profiles. The prettiest girls on fdate will get a lot of correspondence so getting a look in with them would be hard. However, everyday looking girls hardly get any correspondence so they are a good option. Find one who seems eager to message with you and meet you and you are home, or rather you'll should then go travel to meet her.

I think Ukrainian girls are a good option, since Maidan the system of education, etc has been Americanised out there and much American investment money and influence have spread. The Ukrainian girls around 30 or younger will have grown up with this influence which can make it easier to get with them and understand each other. That said all women can be different. Finding ond that speaks good English already can make it easier and that is very possible in Ukraine. You can filter out the countries you aren't interested in in fdate in the settings and that is a good idea.

Fdate is pretty easy to tell the serious women from those who aren't, serious girl who talk about serious subjects will be on the level. Girls who are overly passionate too early on and not talk of serious stuff likely aren't serious, possibly even dodgy ones.

Myself I don't miss fdate all that much, it's one of the better sites but it still can be a pain finding someone you could match with. It's definitely possible but it often takes time and perseverance. Even finding someone you get in well enough to go and meet can take time and perseverance. So keep your expectations reined in a little and give it time.
